MANY articles in The Herald over the years regarding problems with the Swansea Bridge have highlighted the need for a solution.
I think a tunnel would be the answer.
This region is set for growth, not least from tourism.
Lake Macquarie City Council and the State Government should pull their heads out of the sand that has settled in the channel.
Properly managed eco developments around the lake would be a great asset to this region as the coal industry winds down over the next few decades.
I hope Swansea MP Robert Coombs looks in the mirror each night and confirms to himself he has done the best for his and my children and future generations in saving a choking lake.
